If you're wondering what the site is all about, read this to find out a little bit about the books.
The main character is a kid named Gregor. He lives in New York City with his sister, Boots, mom and grandma. His dad disappeared a couple years ago. While doing laundry in the basment, he and Boots fall through this hole in the wall. The hole is one of the entances to the Underworld.
The Underworld is a world completly below the ground. Humans, called Underlanders live there along with fliers(bats), spinners(spiders), crawlers(cockroachs), Nibblers(Mice), and gnawers(rats). Each animal is several times the normal size of one in the Underworld. Gregor meets a young girl, Luxa, the future queen of Regalia, the city the humans live in. Vikus, her grandfather, tells Gregor of a Phropecy. A Phrophecy claiming that Gregor is the warrior meant to save the Underworld. He's forced to go on a quest, a quest to try and bring peace between the gnawers and Underlanders. They've always been enemies, and there have been many battles between them.
